Pretending?

Do you remember pretending? Like girls would dress up and pretend they were princesses and they'd imagine their princes. Boys would pretend that they were in the army or that they were defeating dragons or any number of creatures. And what you do now isn't much different. We pretend that someone that we don't get to see is right there next to us. So, in reality, we haven't changed. We still pretend things. Maybe not the same things but pretending is pretending however way you may think it's different... It really isn't.
